Purpose of the meeting
The purpose of the meeting is to consult with, and obtain the consent of, the affected Nyalpa Pirniku common law holders before WTAC makes a native title decision concerning the proposed Native Title and Mining Agreement with Redcastle Resources Ltd and any associated State deed or deeds (together, the “Proposed Agreements”).
The decision is intended to be made in accordance with regulation 8 of the Native Title (Prescribed Bodies Corporate) Regulations 1999 and rules 32 and 33 of the WTAC Rule Book. The affected common law holders will be given a reasonable opportunity to receive information, ask questions, discuss the Proposed Agreements and state any conditions or directions applying to their consent.

Registration: 8:30 am to 9:30 am
Meeting: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (the meeting will close at 12:00 noon)
Attendance: In person only. No telephone, video or other remote attendance is available.

Who may attend and participate
• Nyalpa Pirniku common law holders whose native title rights and interests are affected by the Proposed Agreements.
• Current WTAC members who are affected common law holders.
• WTAC directors, officers, legal advisers, consultants, interpreters and invited representatives who are required to present information or assist the meeting. These persons do not vote unless they are also affected common law holders.
Verification for persons who are not current WTAC members
Please provide any available information showing that you are a Nyalpa Pirniku common law holder to the WTAC Contact Officer by 5:00 pm on Monday, 3 August 2026. Information may be emailed to david.canning@wtac.org.au or posted to PO Box 10391, Kalgoorlie WA 6430.
WTAC will assess attendance and participation consistently with its Rule Book, the native title determination and applicable law. A person who cannot provide information by that date should contact WTAC as soon as possible and may also raise the matter at registration.
Notice and meeting documents
This Notice should be read with the explanatory summary and map of the agreement area supplied with it or otherwise made available by WTAC. Because some terms are confidential, detailed commercial information may be presented at the meeting rather than reproduced in this public Notice. Common law holders may contact the WTAC Contact Officer before the meeting to request further information or arrange to inspect available documents, subject to confidentiality requirements.
Meeting procedure and decision-making
1. Decision-making process
The meeting must first identify whether there is a decision-making process under the traditional laws and customs of the affected common law holders that must be followed for this decision. If there is, that process must be followed. If there is no such mandatory traditional process, the affected common law holders will use the decision making process agreed to or adopted by them for this decision or decisions of this kind.
To the extent the affected common law holders have agreed or adopted the WTAC meeting procedures, the following will apply:
a quorum of 15 eligible participants; an attempt to reach consensus; and, if consensus cannot be reached, a show of hands or a formal poll. Each eligible participant has one vote. The chairperson has no casting vote.
2. Quorum
A quorum must be present throughout the decision-making part of the meeting. If the required quorum or participation under the applicable traditional or agreed process is not present, no native title consent decision will be made. The chairperson will explain any adjournment or further meeting arrangements.
3. Chairperson and advisers
The eligible participants will confirm the chairperson or facilitator at the start of the meeting in accordance with the applicable decision-making process. Advisers and presenters may speak with the chairperson’s permission but do not participate in the consent decision unless they are themselves affected common law holders.
4. Proxies and technology
Proxy voting is not permitted under the WTAC Rule Book. The meeting is in person only and no remote technology will be used.
5. Conduct and records
The WTAC Code of Conduct for meetings applies. Participants must treat one another respectfully and must not disrupt the meeting.
WTAC will keep minutes and records of the consultation, the decision-making process, the participants, any conditions or directions, and the outcome. WTAC will prepare the consultation and consent certificate required by regulation 9 after any native title decision is made.
6. Register and personal details
Current WTAC members should check their details on the Register of Members at registration and advise WTAC of any changes.
Personal information collected for attendance, eligibility and the consultation and consent record will be used for those purposes and handled in accordance with applicable law.
7. Payments and refreshments
No attendance payment, fuel reimbursement or food allowance will be paid to members, directors or other attendees. Morning tea and light refreshments will be provided.
